DESCRIPTION

Childhood friends with SECRETS make the best forever friends. Immerse yourself in the bond between these four women and the direction their lives take with each decision they make. Sad truths, hilarious moments and wicked times are just a few of the emotions their journey will take you. Through these women, we learn how every experience in our lives affects us and leads us to our thoughts, attitudes and the actions we take.

After miraculously surviving their difficult, (some would even say criminal) childhoods, four women carry the heavy burdens of their past into their sordid, twisted adult lives. They have always known that it is not a matter of IF but a matter of WHEN the sins of the fathers will come crashing down on their heads and that their unresolved karma will come back to haunt them. As their lives begin to unravel, their shady, illicit business venture is compromised and their very freedom is a stake. These four women have one main, common goal and that is to try and weather the storm as best as they can so they can protect each other at any cost. Through thick and thin, regardless of the consequences, Dahlia, Anna, Claire and Heather each has the other’s back. Yet if one falters, they will all go down for life.

REVIEWS

Everyone should have girlfriends like this! I am the kind of reader who reads to escape, laugh and have a good time; and I must say that I really enjoyed this book! At one time or another I think many of us wished we had written a letter to a former boyfriend like Claire wrote, or wished we could make a lamb dinner like Heather did. I laughed out loud reading this book, and lived vicariously through more than one character in this book. I think everyone should have 3 or 4 really good friends who are lifelong friends, and are there to help each other through thick and thin.

So much more than friendship and wine! I thought I would savour this tasty treat slowly and deliciously while relaxing on my deck in the summer wind, but it grips the reader right away! I found myself reading it right at my desk at work, before I could even make it outside. The inviting and professional voice of Red Wine & Alibis tongue ’n’ cheek style delivers on fun, but with the gripping element of a mystery novel! Well done and satisfying! Ms. Baggaley is a captivating writer! Red Wine & Alibis is a must have that you won’t be able to put down!
